BEL Probationary Engineer Recruitment 2026 – 350 Posts (Electronics & Mechanical)

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navaratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence, has invited online applications for 350 Probationary Engineer (E-II Grade) posts (Advt. No. 17556/HR/All-India/2026, including backlog).

Vacancies

45 posts are reserved for PwBD candidates within the total.

Important Dates

• Application starts: 28 October 2026, 2:00 PM
• Last date (online application and fee): 18 November 2026, 11:59 PM
• CBT: 22 December 2026 (tentative)

Application Fee

₹1,180 (₹1,000 + GST) for General / EWS / OBC (NCL). SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen are exempt.

Age Limit

Maximum 25 years as on 1 October 2026. Relaxation: OBC (NCL) 3 years, SC/ST 5 years, PwBD 10 years (more with category).

Qualification

• Electronics: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (4 years) in Electronics, ECE, E&T, Communication or Telecommunication
• Mechanical: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (4 years) in Mechanical
• First class for UR/OBC/EWS; pass class for SC/ST/PwBD. AMIE/AMIETE/GIETE (first class) also accepted.

Salary

₹40,000–3%–1,40,000 (E-II Grade), CTC about ₹13 lakh. 6 months training and a 2-year service agreement.

Selection Process

1. Computer Based Test: 85 marks, 125 questions, 120 minutes, ¼ negative marking
2. Interview: 15 marks (shortlisting 1:5)
