NLC India Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – 1,067 ITI & Graduate Apprentice Posts
NLC India Limited (Neyveli Lignite Corporation) has invited online applications under Advertisement No. L&DC/04/2026 for 1,067 apprentice slots: 700 ITI Trade Apprentices and 367 Graduate (Non-Engineering) Apprentices. Training is at Neyveli and the Regional Office, Chennai.

Vacancies
ITI (700): Fitter 125, Turner 45, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle) 110, Electrician 125, Wireman 110, Mechanic (Diesel) 5, Stenographer 20, Welder 120, COPA 30, RAC Mechanic 10.
Graduate (367): B.Com 70, BBA 72, B.Sc Computer Science 93, BCA 45, B.Sc Geology 14, B.Sc Microbiology 5, B.Sc Chemistry 26, B.Pharm (Allopathy) 3, B.Pharm (Ayurveda) 3, B.Sc Nursing 36.
Eligibility
- Age: minimum 18 years on or before 31 October 2026; no maximum stated.
- ITI: pass in the relevant trade.
- Graduate: regular full-time degree passed in 2022–2026.
- Candidates must be from Tamil Nadu or Puducherry. Those who have done NAPS/NATS apprenticeship or the PM internship scheme are not eligible.
Stipend (per month)
- ITI Trade Apprentice: ₹12,000
- Graduate (Commerce, BBA, CS, BCA, Geology, Microbiology, Chemistry): ₹14,174
- Pharmacist and Nursing graduates: ₹16,678
Selection
Merit based on marks in the qualifying exam; no written test. Training lasts 12 months and does not guarantee employment.
